The Role
As a Maintenance Technician at Tracer Golf, you will fulfill two critical roles that ensure our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment are always in top shape. This essential position is vital to delivering the seamless and enjoyable experience our customers expect from Tracer Golf.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Performing early morning regular preventative maintenance to uphold our high standards and guarantee a premium experience for our customers.
- Being on standby and responding promptly to emergency calls to minimize downtime and maximize customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive to and perform early morning comprehensive preventative maintenance and facility inspections at various Tracer Golf locations across the GTA to minimize customer impact.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with golf simulator hardware and software.
- Maintain and repair golf simulator components such as screens, sensors, and cameras.
- Conduct general facility upkeep, including minor repairs, adjustments, and ensuring cleanliness in common areas, washrooms, and storage.
- Be on standby and respond promptly to emergency repair calls to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Coordinate effectively with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and other team members to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with the setup and installation of equipment in new Tracer Golf locations as we expand.
- Manage and replenish facility supplies and inventory as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned to support facility operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Problem-solver with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently or with little supervision
- Attention to detail
- Experience with power tools and/or hand tools
- Comfortable working with Windows PCs
- Comfortable working with various mobile applications
- Comfortable with ladders
- Fluent in English
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving in harsh winter conditions
- Clean criminal record check
- References required
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Preferred:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Candidate lives west of Yonge St with easy access to 401
Job Type
Permanent, Full-time
Work and Standby Hours:
- 4 days on/3 days off
- Monday – Wednesday: 6 am – 9 am / 3pm – 9pm
- Sunday 8 am – 9 pm
- Occasional coverage for teammates on other days will be required.
Salary
$45,000 – $58,000 per year
