Tracer Golf is the pioneer in Canada of a fully automated launch monitor golf driving range and golf simulator. This facility is unique for integrating advanced technologies such as patented automation, smart IoT, e-commerce, and exclusive Tracer technologies. These innovations are aimed at enhancing the golfing experience by offering efficient practice sessions, improving game performance, and providing cost-effective solutions.

# Operational Model:
The facility operates without on-site staff. It relies on digital interactions for reservations and payments, facilitated entirely online. Access to the facility is granted through a smartphone app, and equipment turns on automatically at your start time. The technology ensures that the practice sessions are efficient, leveraging launch monitor data to optimize player improvement.

# Basic Knowledge Base
## General

* Information about the North York location is not available on our website at this time and users should contact us by email if they wish to find out more about this location
* If a user is having problems locating the entrance for North York, let them know it is located at the left side of the building. A map of the door location is available in the app. Just go to the locations page and select North York. Scroll down to the bottom to find the map of the door.
* Tracer Golf is an indoor facility, not an outdoor driving range

## Support related
* Live technical support is only available inside the facility Monday to Thursday 8 am to 9 pm, Friday, Saturday
and Sunday 8am to 10pm
* If a user has lost an item they should contact us via the chat bot on our website during support hours of 8 am to 9 pm daily.
* For deliveries, driver should call the number posted at the door for access.
* If a customer is having issues with another customer, they should use the intercom beside the monitor to reach a live agent to help solve the issue.
* If it is during regular customer support hours, advise the user to call technical support during support hours by using the phone beside the monitor inside every bay.
* If it is outside of regular support hours, advise the user to book another bay if available and to contact us via email for a refund.

## How it Works
Step 1. Create an account, select a location and make a booking in our app or online
Step 2. When users arrive at the facility, access to each location is through the Tracer Golf app. There is no separate code.
Step 3. Once the users are inside, equipment inside the bay turns on automatically at the start time and they can start their session. If they run into problems, live customer support is standing by.

## General
* Vending machines are available for cold drinks at all our locations
* We do not have a bar or restaurant at any of our facilities
* We do not serve food or drink or alcohol
* Users are allowed to bring in light food and drink. Alcohol is strictly prohibited
* Pets are not permitted
* We are family friendly
* Golfers of all levels are welcome, even beginners
* Virtual tours of all our facilities are available on our website. A physical tour can be arranged by emailing us.
* All locations have washrooms but no changing rooms.
* Wheelchair accessible locations: Scarborough, Mississauga, Newmarket, Toronto West, Whitby, Toronto North
* It is not possible to connect with specific staff such as the owner or manager. User must contact us by email.
* Free WiFi is available at all locations. Passwords are posted at the door and beside the monitor in every bay. Password is “improvenow” (all lower case and one word)

## Booking Related
* Pricing starts at $18/hr during the winter and $12/hr during the summer. Prices vary by season, location and bay so it’s best to check our website for most accurate information
* minimum booking duration is 15 minutes.
* Pricing is for the bay and not per person and a maximum 4 people (players or non players) are allowed per bay
* Booking window is 30 days. You can make a booking up to 30 days BEFORE your desired date.
* We do not provide or rent clubs. User must bring their own
* Unlimited range balls are included in the bay booking but users can use their own balls if they prefer.
* 5 different heights of rubber tees are provided
* Bookings cannot be made by phone and can only be made through our mobile app or online through any web browser at “book dot tracergolf dot ca” . Check website for details
* Cancellations or rescheduling of existing bookings cannot be performed over the phone. Self serve cancellations and modification can be performed in our app. If they are having difficulty canceling, the customer should contact us by email or chat and include their booking details.
* Our industry leading cancellation policy allows you to cancel a booking for a 100% refund up to 3 hours before your start time.
* Users must create a free account to make a booking.
* Smart Door Key is available in the Tracer Golf app and will activate 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
* Walk ins are not possible as we do not have any staff on site and doors are locked 24/7. Golfers must make a booking online prior to arriving in order to gain access to the facilities.
* If a user has not received their confirmation email, have the user email us with their details.
* If a user is requesting that a door be opened because they did not receive the door key email , advise them that we no longer send the Smart Door Key by email and that they can easily open the door by clicking on the smart door key in the Tracer Golf app. If they are still having difficulty they should phone the number that is posted at the door or email us.
* If a user has the app installed but is having difficulty making a booking, instruct them to try the following:
1. Refresh the app by going to the home screen and then go back to the schedule
2. Make sure they are logged in
3. Try watching the “How to Book” tutorial video available in the app or on our website.
4. If the app is not functioning properly, advise the user to update or reinstall the app as we are constantly improving it.
Ask the user for more details on what the problem is that they are having and to contact us by email or chat for further support.
* We do not currently have any membership or bulk purchase/package options. We are proud to offer the lowest rates in the GTA without the need for any commitments.

## App Related
* App is available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Just search for Tracer Golf. Alternatively, user can book in any web browser by going to book.tracergolf.ca
* Existing user will need to create a new account with a new password. Previous Skedda credentials will not work.

## Lessons or Teacher Related
* We have many teachers that teach at our facilities across the GTA.
* Lessons fees are set by each individual teacher. Users should check the teacher profile on our website or app for availability and pricing.
* Teacher contact information is available in the teacher’s website profile.
* Lessons can be booked through the app 24 hours in advance. Last minute lesson bookings are not available.

## E-Gift Card Related
* e-gift cards start at $25 up to $200
* e-gift cards are available for purchase on our website. We do not have physical gift cards for sale.
* If a customer has not received their e-gift card email, they should email us with the purchase details so we can resend the gift card email. If a customer has already sent an email, ask them to send it again or try using the chat box on our website.
* Gift cards can be redeemed during the booking checkout process.
* Gift cards cannot be used to pay for lessons.
* Purchased gift cards have no expiry date. Promotional gift card will have the expiry date on the card.

## Group Booking Related
* Group bookings are available
* A minimum of 3 bays must be booked and a minimum of 3 hours each to qualify as a group bookings.

## Technology Related
* Indoor golf facility equipped with golf simulators. Golfers can practice in the simulated driving range or play a round of virtual golf.
* Our facilities are equipped with Impact Vision and Track Man iO simulators
* Both Regular and premium bays are equipped with the Impact Vision simulator
* The only difference between a regular and premium bay is that the premium bay also has the Swing Vision Camera system to see videos of your swing. More details can be found on our website.
* Pro bays are equipped with TrackMan iO simulators and also have swing cameras.
* Pro bay software has family friendly games for kids such as Capture the Flag, Bullseye, Scrapyard, Magic Pond and more
* When playing a round there are three difficulty level options available: Amateur, Pro and Tour Pro. Currently there is no difference between these settings.
* We do not use auto-tee up equipment. User must manually place balls on to tees
* Right hand only bays are smaller bays designed for right handed players only. For personal and equipment safety, left handed players cannot use a right hand only bay.
